Job Description

Summary – Healthcare Administrator

A leading healthcare provider in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Administrator to manage and oversee medical services operations. This role requires strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, exceptional administrative skills, and the ability to manage sensitive medical information with discretion.

The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare administration, business administration, or related fields, with experience in coordinating medical services and maintaining operational efficiency in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage budgets, prepare detailed financial reports, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate medical and staff records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Track and manage medical and office supplies, ensuring timely procurement to avoid shortages.
  • Data Updates: Regularly update patient health records, including admissions and insurance details, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Staff Scheduling: Develop and manage work schedules for staff members, optimising resource allocation.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure the facility operates in compliance with healthcare regulations and medical laws.
  • Operational Efficiency: Liaise with medical staff to identify and implement efficiency improvements in facility operations.
  • Stakeholder Queries: Address and resolve queries from doctors, nurses, and patients promptly.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced qualifications (BCA, MCA, B.Tech, M.Tech, etc.) are preferred.
  • Experience: 0 to 4 years of relevant experience in healthcare administration.
  • Age Requirement: Minimum of 18 years.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical law.
    • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
    • Proficiency in maintaining and analysing records and reports.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
