Our client is a rapidly growing eCommerce startup helping brands convert more traffic and increase average order value through innovative solutions and performance-driven strategies. With a strong foundation and ambitious growth plans, they’re looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive sales and play a key role in expanding their client base in the U.S. market.

The Role

As the Business Development Representative, you’ll take full ownership of the company’s outbound sales strategy — identifying, reaching, and qualifying eCommerce businesses that can benefit from the company’s solutions. You’ll be responsible for building and managing a strong sales pipeline, booking qualified meetings for the founder, and hitting key growth KPIs. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role best suited for someone with a startup mentality — independent, strategic, and driven by results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and qualify new business leads within the U.S. eCommerce market
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email, and other digital channels
  • Book qualified meetings for the company owner with targeted brands and decision-makers
  • Achieve and exceed KPIs for new qualified meetings and opportunities created
  • Use tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Shopify, and leading CRM systems to identify, track, and engage prospects
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine the outbound strategy and optimise messaging
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Executive, or similar role in the eCommerce or SaaS industry
  • Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and eCommerce operations Strong experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), and outbound automation tools
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a startup environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and entrepreneurial drive
