Summary – Project Manager

Our client, a renowned construction and development firm based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead large-scale projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working with top-tier professionals in the construction industry. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating project teams, managing resources, and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned. This role demands strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of project management principles, and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of project life cycles, including planning, design, construction, and handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and schedules to ensure project objectives are met.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues.
• Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and implement solutions.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and expenditures are controlled.
• Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection and contract management.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment for project teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or development industry.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, construction processes, and best practices.
• Experience managing large-scale projects, ideally within the UAE or the Middle East region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification (preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• UAE driver’s license (preferred).
