Summary

Our client, a luxury hotel in Dubai, is seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Sales Manager – Leisure & MICE to join their team. This role is designed for an experienced sales professional with a passion for driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the hotel’s leadership in the marketplace through innovative strategies and exceptional customer service.

As the Sales Manager – Leisure & MICE, you will analyze market trends, develop strategic partnerships, and oversee client accounts to drive revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads and recommend strategic actions.
  • Account Development: Build and manage customer accounts, driving business into the hotel and increasing market share across all revenue streams.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate and leisure clients to achieve maximum profitability.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Develop and implement innovative local marketing strategies, including leveraging social media channels, to enhance brand visibility.
  • Contracts and Pricing: Prepare and manage company contracts in alignment with current business conditions.
  • Event Participation: Represent the hotel at sales events and industry networking opportunities.
  • Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reports to the Sales Director and senior management, detailing appointments, calls, and business leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the local market and trends in Leisure & MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and reporting systems.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
